After several years in advertising working as a creative copywriter in New York City, then starting my own business as a freelance writer under the name The Little Red Writing Shop, I taught for eight years in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Following my time as a faculty member there teaching courses on advertising creativity, strategy, copywriting and branding, I decided to take what I had learned and taught in order to apply it to my own entrepreneurial venture. Haven Abode Properties, my real estate business within Team Price, was born shortly thereafter.
I'm passionate about helping others find their "place". As a bilingual (Spanish/English) real estate consultant, I love connecting with people from all walks of life. Being able to do this in a way that also provides valuable home/investment property buying and selling information feels incredibly rewarding. I've found there's a psychology to the homes we inhabit, and discovering the right fit can do wonders for living well in this world.
